3 Tages Einhornmarsch
"3 Tage Einhornmarsch" is the Austrian IML march.
The march started out in the early years from Seefeld in Tyrol, a small tourist town located at an altitude of about 1200 meters, approximately 30 kilometers from Innsbruck. A couple of years ago, the starting point was moved to the neighboring town of Leutasch.
The march goes through an incredibly beautiful mountain landscape with plenty of ascents and descents...
Every day, several charming inns are passed along the route where many participants enjoy the delicious local food and drinks.
The weather at the time of the march can vary significantly - there have been years with very hot late summer weather and occasional years where winter with snow and sleet arrived surprisingly early.
In the starting area, there is daily local Tyrolean entertainment with lots of cheerful walkers having a great time...
Usually, there are several military teams from different countries participating in the long distances. The regulations for the march allow military teams to use bicycle orderlies - although the idea of cycling the route seems highly doubtful!
The march is highly recommended!

The IVV Region Seefeld-Leutasch Internationale Vandretage are held annually as part of the 3 Days Unicorn March.
To qualify for the medals, participants must complete at least one of the IVV routes.
Only one medal can be obtained per year.
An excellent option for individuals who are unable to participate in all three days of hiking or as an additional supplement for those participating in the entire march.
