"Lietuvos žygeivių festivalis" or "Walkers Festival of Lithuania" is the IML march in Lithuania.

The first IML march was held in 2015 with 28 Danish participants!

In the early years, the march was carried out around the city of Jurbarkas, which is located on the river that separates Lithuania and the Russian Kaliningrad enclave.

The area does not seem very prosperous compared to the big cities in Lithuania, but the people are extremely friendly and the price level is very low!

A beautiful area with beautiful nature and funy old Soviet buildings as well as something you don't see often in Denmark, - lots of storks' nests.

The area is not very well supplied with restaurants and hotels, but despite this, it was an event that could be recommended.

After a break of two years due to the Corona epidemic, it was decided to carry out the march in Kaunas.

Kaunas is the second largest city in Lithuania, it is located on a large body of water with rivers and lakes as well as a surprising amount of forest. The city has both old dilapidated Soviet buildings and much that is completely newly built. So here too it is an interesting and exciting area to hike in.

There are not very many people participating in the march and it seems that there are not very many for the practical tasks for the organizers, but despite this, participation in Walkers Festival of Lithuania can be recommended.
