Linnémarschen
The "Linnémarschen" has been the Swedish IML march since 2012.
The march takes place in the Borås area, approximately 90 km from Gothenburg.
The start and finish of the march are at Borås Arena, which is usually the home ground for the IF Elfsborg football team, - reportedly a quite well-known Swedish team?
The routes are extremely hilly, especially on the second day, where certain stretches are akin to mountain hiking and climbing.
In 2012, around 4500 individuals participated in the Linné March.
It is a beautiful journey, well-organized and executed, albeit with a rather high cost for participation and possible accommodation...
Interested individuals travel from various parts of Sweden to take part in this unique event, offering a challenging hike through breathtaking nature.
During the Linné March, participants can experience the fantastic Scandinavian flora and fauna, as well as connect with other enthusiastic walkers.
The event not only attracts experienced hikers but also families and friends who together enjoy the exciting challenge and the beauty of nature.
The Linné March continues to be a popular and memorable annual event, drawing hikers from across Sweden and numerous international participants.
