An easy solution to a problem – how to avoid sewing patches on a uniform, you invent an

new "Armlet"!

It is possible that it does not ruin the uniform as much as if the patches were sewn directly on – but unfortunately it looks very “cheap” when such an armlet hangs and slaps on the sleeve.

A solution I have never used myself where I could avoid it….

Just like the "armlet" in camouflage fabric, this is an attempt to avoid uniforms being worn/damaged in connection with UN/NATO service.

Since most badges used during service abroad are only used for about six months, it is probably okay to save a little on sewing and use these armlets instead – even if it looks a bit “cheap”!

Enemy armband

This armband is worn by the personnel who are "Enemies" during an exercise - here the point is to get the armband so dirty and placed in a way that one cannot immediately be recognized as belonging to the "red" party in the exercise.

1 OPK ESK in particular was known for having made it a bit of an art to hide the armband as well as "forgotten" name badges, rank insignia and license plates on the vehicles - this was a completely anonymous force....
