First shooting with a 9mm Pistol P08 H&K USP or Rifle – 7.62mm G3 or 5.56mm G36, then shooting with a heavy weapon – 7.62mm MG 3 or anti-tank weapon Pzf 3.

Sniper Badge from Germany.
Old K98k carbines are shot at 100 meters, to achieve the requirement for the badge you must have a hit percentage of at least 70%.
This mark is almost identical in appearance to the mark used by the German military during World War II. The only difference is that the current German flag has been added to the brand
There is conflicting information from Germany as to whether the badge may be used on Police & BW uniforms or should be considered a civilian marksman's badge.

The "Traditionskontingent Deutsche Schutztruppe" instituted on 7. December 2011 a Shooting Badge for "Scharfschützen".
The description reads as follows:
"Scharfschützenabzeichen des Traditionskontingentes Deutsche Schutztruppe“,in the following grades: Bronze (or Silver or Gold).
The award shall be presented in person by the President or the Vice-President in a ceremonial setting.
