Bayerische Sport Leistungs Abzeichen

This badge was used in the state of Bavaria (discontinued in 2013), in the rest of Germany the DSB/DOSB abzeichen is used.

The badge is divided into three classes (Bronze, Silver, Gold) which are awarded according to the results obtained - so that in order to acquire the badge in e.g. Silver, the requirements for at least Silver must be met in all five groups of disciplines.

The badge is not recognized as an official distinction, so it is usually not possible to obtain a wearing permit for a uniform.

The ribbon and miniature medal are also not allowed, but are sometimes worn especially by the German "Resevisten".
