I: PRESENTATION
11: Goal
Always pushing one's abilities and limits through sport helps to position oneselfin life and find one's identity. The joy of having succeeded in achieving, or evensurpassing, a goal that seemed out of reach, can help improve one's self-image. Successand recognition are the driving forces behind this process. The outward signof personal success is the European Police Officers' Sports Certificate (B.S.P.E.).
The interest of this badge also lies in the motivation it generates. Indeed, preparing fora given period of time to achieve a specific goal by training two to three times a week is much more beneficial than an exhausting activity on the weekend or during the holidays alone. Only those who derive joy and the will to live from sports will keep sport as an integral part of their lives as they age.
In addition, the sports offered during the passage of this badge correspond toactivities that each member of the police forces can find as part of hisservice.
As a result, having the ability to obtain the European Policeman's Sports Certificate canmean having the opportunity to get out of a difficult situation.
