Dansk Motions Forbund
The Danish section of IVV is represented by DMF Dansk Motions Forbund - a national organization of associations, self-owning institutions, and similar entities that prioritize sports such as hiking, cycling, swimming, and more.
Established on October 27, 1973, Danish Motions Association currently comprises around 80 member associations with approximately 10,000 members collectively. Annually, these member associations host about 250 sports events.
Key features of sports events approved by the Danish Motions Association include:
• They take place in picturesque surroundings on well-marked routes of varying lengths, making them accessible to everyone.
• The routes must be completed within a reasonable timeframe without any competitive elements or timekeeping.
• Participation is open to all regardless of age or fitness level.
• Anyone can participate for an approved starting fee of DKK 25.00.
• A higher starting fee is applicable if participants wish to receive the association's rewards (pins, badges, medals, etc.).
• There are ample opportunities for socializing with new and old friends, and families can participate together.
• Exceptional service is guaranteed!
• Danish Motions Association coordinates members' events to ensure sports activities are available every weekend throughout the country.
IVV Kilometer Badges
These badges can be obtained by participating in events organized by walking associations that are members of the International Volkssport Verband - IVV.
A new badge is earned for every 500 Km completed while participating in IVV marches.
