Vierdaagse van Apeldoorn

Vierdaagse van Apeldoorn is a large four-days Walking event held in the large forest area between the town of Apeldoorn, the Infantry School in Harskamp and the Air Base in Nieuw-Milligen.

The march was started in 1954 by a breakaway group from the Nijmegen march – today it has about 5000 participants, most of them are Dutch and almost no one participants in uniform...

The march is quite cozy and completely without all the turmoil that characterizes the Nijmegen march, which is carried out in the neighboring town of Niejmegen the following week.
