Corps Saint Lazare Ostarrichi

Since March 1, 2007, the Corps Saint Lazare Ostarrichi has been awarding a Donat's Cross in exchange for fixed donations.

The Corps Saint Lazare Ostarrichi, the newly founded relief service of the Grand Priory of Austria of theMilitary and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem, is not only anemergency organization in active disaster control, which even maintains its own air service with an air andhelicopter squadron, but also runs various charitable projects such as theExample: The "Liebnitzmühle" project, a holiday and therapy centre near Raabs an der Thaya withsix disabled-friendly residential units in which families with disabled childrenare given the opportunity to spend their holidays. Or the "Voices in Silence" project, where hearing aids are delivered to severelydisabled children in the Czech Republic and fitted and maintained by volunteer experts. To support the financing of these social projects, the CSLO has developed a

portable Donat's cross in five steps.

The Donatskreuz is awarded to each person as a thank you for a corresponding donation in a fixed amount. Corresponding applications can be sent to bestellung@cslo.at, stating the title/name (for the certificate) and address (for sending).

After the donation has been transferred, in addition to the award with the ribbon and the award certificate,a piece of ribbon and a cushion for the ribbon clasp will also be included.

Miniatures can be purchased for an additional 15 euros.

The decoration is a bordered, eight-pointed metal cross with 40 mm for the two lower steps and 50 mm diameter from the commander's cross, silver-plated or gilded according to the step.

In the middle is the enamelled coat of arms - white with a green cross, in the upper left corner a black one-headed eagle on a golden background.

The crosses are worn on a dark green triangular band or on a ladies' bow, on the left side of the chest.

The commander's crosses are neck decorations and the Grand Commander's Cross is a breast star (80 x 80mm).

On the clasp of the order, the step of the Donat's Cross is indicated by a small silver-plated or gilded eight-pointed cross as an overlay and, from the commander's cross, additionally underlaid with a silver, silver/gold or gold border, whereby the overlay is gilded and enamelled.

On the occasion of the founding of the CSLI, the founders of the CSLI donated the "CSLI Membership Medal" as a visible and wearable sign of membership in the CSLI. or as an expression of sympathy for the CSLI. This very lovingly and richly detailed medal (diameter 35mm) shows on the obverse a representation of the CSLI corps badge with CSLI coat of arms, between the cross legs laurel wreath connections, on the outside surrounded by another stylized laurel wreath with an outer border line. The back is designed with a simple structure. There are also the corresponding miniatures.

The medal is awarded in only one class and is made of BRONZE and is worn on a GREEN/WHITE striped triangular ribbon. It is (of course) not a "MUST", but it is expected that all CSLI members acquire this medal, as the proceeds from it will benefit CSLI activities and projects.

Since the LAZARUS UNION does not charge membership fees or registration fees, it is also not possible for the LAZARUS UNION to "remunerate" the many services rendered in the course of its activities with even approximately adequate amounts of money.

For this reason, the LAZARUS UNION has endowed a number of awards that make it possible (with relatively modest means) to give deserving persons a corresponding

public recognitions.

Although we try (wherever possible) to award such recognitions without "fees", this is (unfortunately) not possible for all awardees. It is therefore necessary to charge (relatively) small "insignia fees" for the "wearable and visible version" of these awards in the form of donations of some amount on a case-by-case basis.

But: These "insignia fees" are NOT the "purchase price" for awards of the LAZARUS UNION!

Awards of the LAZARUS UNION (except for PRECISELY specified and PRECISELY described awards, as "visible proof of donation", such as the founding or the Donat's cross, as well as the membership or friendship medal) are NOT for sale, but are awarded according to certain allocation guidelines.

However, for certain plans and projects (e.g. UN-NGO Cross and the LAZARUS Medal for the financing of the 3rd Hospitaller Symposium 2015), such insignia will be issued specifically in order to be able to finance certain plans and projects. But NO ONE is forced to "acquire" or "donate" anything. EVERYTHING is in principle totally voluntary! We attach particular importance to recording this AGAIN.

The net profit generated from the insignia fees collected is used exclusively to finance our various projects!
