"Zivil-Militärischer Zwei Tage March" or "Fulda March" is the German IML march.

This walking event takes place in the area surrounding the medieval town of Fulda in Hessen. The area is beautiful and lush, albeit very hilly. Across both days, the Fulda River is crossed several times, and the route passes by old castles and monasteries.

The march starts and finishes at the General Erich Ludendorff Barracks on the outskirts of Fulda, which was once home to the U.S. Army 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. Today, the barracks house the headquarters of the police in the state of Hessen. The event usually attracts around 4000 participants, including a large number of military personnel from Germany and several other countries.

The historic Fulda area offers unique natural experiences and cultural attractions. Visitors can explore the impressive cathedral, the old town hall, and the charming old town. There are also opportunities to enjoy beautiful walks along the riverbank or visit some of the area's cozy cafes and restaurants.

Fulda is a hub for train traffic in Germany, which provides plenty of opportunities to experience busy train tracks with a lot of traffic.

For those interested in military history, Fulda March provides a unique insight into the area's past military connections during World War ll and the Cold War and the opportunity to sometime witness exciting military ceremonies and parades during the event.
